Karen (AKA Tigger) is Scuba 2000's owner and a very established person within the diving industry. Karen is an ITDA and IHMP Course Director, Trainer and Evaluator, SSI Instructor Trainer, TDI Extended Range Instructor and DAN O2 Instructor.
With over 20 years experience in diving, Karen has travelled to many awesome locations in the UK, as well as around the world, including South Africa, The Caribbean, The Red Sea, USA, Italy, Greece, Gozo, Malta, Turkey, The Maldives and Indonesia.
Karen has done well over 3000 dives and her favourite types of dives are Wreck, Photography and Extended Range

For Karen, Scuba 2000 is a lifetime's passion as is her diving; this is evident to all who know her & come back to dive with her time after time. She has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of diving as well as marine life, wrecks, & history in general. Her goal is to make and keep Scuba 2000 as the safest dive club/ school, as well as being great fun too.
Her hobbies outside diving include photography, walking, the theatre, film and swimming .
Karen is currently enjoying Pacific Abyss an Underwater wildlife series in which Kate Humble sets sail on a 2,000 mile adventure across the Pacific with a team of top natural history filmmakers and deep water marine biologists. The team explore some of the most remote islands of Micronesia as Kate Humble's scuba team encounter spectacular underwater wildlife while the extreme deep divers and scientists dive as deep as humans can without a submersible and continue to find fish that have never been seen before.
