ITDA Dive Leader and Instructor candidate, Douglas has been diving since the mid- nineties in Australia, where he completed his PADI Advanced Open Water. At this point he had hair (he has pictures to prove this- just ask)! Forced to take a break by the unexpected but hugely welcomed arrival of his daughter, Zan (Jr. Advanced Open Water Diver), he dived infrequently over the next eight years in Thailand, Tunisia, Spain, Grenada, Redsea ,Scotland and the North. He took up scuba diving again once Zan was able to start Scuba Rangers.

Doug has completed Stress and Rescue, Boat, Wreck, Navigation, Night, Low Viz, Deep, Nitrox and Advanced Nitrox specialities with Scuba 2000. He has reached 200 (dives not years quite yet)!
